"Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran becomes the most streamed in the history of Spotify

"Shape of You" Song Video with lyrics by Ed Sheeran.


The No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Sheeran's “Shape of You,” which was released on the 6th of January 2017, became the most-streamed track in the spotify's history, which by December 2017 racked up to 1.4 billion streams.

The song "Shape of You" which was a single by Ed Sheeran and 3:53 in length, was recorded in 2016 and made available for digital download on 6th January,  2017 alongside two other Ed Sheeran's singles — "Castle on the Hill" (2017) and "Galway Girl" (2017) under the Asylum Atlantic's Label. The the songwriters include: Ed Sheeran, Steve Mac, Johnny McDaid, Kandi Burruss, Tameka Cottle and Kevin Briggs and co-produced by Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac.

The song was nominated for a Grammy award for best solo pop performance and has more than 4 billion views on YouTube —  the number of views of the song's lyric video on YouTube is clocking 3 billion with it's official video views still on increase at 4 billion.
